Usage notes for clauses¶

I-Deal Docs allows you to specify author, instructional, or usage notes for each clause. This enables you to document your in-house intellectual property related to the clause. For example, you might provide suggestions for complementary clauses or include a link to the relevant section of an Act.

When using the clause library search window, a visual cue indicates that notes are available for a particular clause. You can view the notes simply by clicking the icon:
