Keyboard prompting¶

Not all variables and conditional text can be automated using the Variable Prompt data-entry windows. For example, you cannot enter a table or a fully formatted numbered list in a data-entry field on a prompt window. The keyboard prompting functions of I-Deal Docs allow you to set “stop” points in the document at locations where manual action is required. During document assembly, the generation process automatically pauses at each of these points, allowing direct entry into the document.
