The Rename Comments and Revisions Author function allows you to change the name attached to comments and to revisions. A typical use case would be to change someone’s name to a generic value such as your company name. You do the rename actions separately against the comments and the revisions, i.e. you can change an author’s name against their comments without affecting their revisions, and vice versa.
